Dr. Kerri Adkins came to Campbellsville University in the fall of 2021 from Russell County High School, where she taught biology, 化学, and medical science for three years.

Before teaching at Russell County High School, she taught biology, AP biology, 化学, AP 化学, AP environmental science, forensic science, and physical science for nine years at 萨默塞特 Christian School and for four years at Casey County High School. She also led the Pride club and Unite club for many years during this time and encouraged students in community service and promoted Christian leadership.

Kerri’s research area is in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math). She wrote her dissertation in 2019 on the reasons that academically capable females choose not to pursue degrees in STEM to address the shortage of female representation in these particular areas. She hopes to continue this research at Campbellsville.
